Lifelong support for survivors.
A multidisciplinary approach for the identification and management of long-term effects of childhood cancer therapy.
Childhood cancer survivors often have medical and psycho-social concerns that are different from their peers. Our dedicated team of physicians, nurses, social workers, psychologists and educators provide ongoing services such as education for the survivor about his or her previous diagnosis and therapy, with recommendations for further care; assistance in transitioning to adult medical services; and observation and documentation of late effects. The freestanding, off-site program offers a warm, safe and comfortable environment to address the unique concerns of its survivors.
Services:
Our practice provides comprehensive, lifelong support services for survivors who are 2 or more years past their treatment for childhood cancer, regardless of where they received their treatment.
