Hackensack Meridian Health Physicians Recognized as Top Doctors in State by Jersey’s Best Magazine

More than 500 Hackensack Meridian Health physicians recognized for being the best in New Jersey

Hackensack Meridian Health, New Jersey’s largest and most comprehensive health network, is proud to share that 540 of its affiliated physicians have been recognized as Top Doctors in the state by Jersey’s Best magazine.

The editorial team at Jersey’s Best developed the Top Doctors list in partnership with Castle Connolly Ltd. For the 2025 edition, Castle Connolly conducted an extensive peer-nomination process, surveying thousands of doctors and health care leaders to identify standout professionals across a wide range of specialties.

Nominees undergo an evaluation by a physician-led research team, which considers the following factors:

• Active and valid board certification in the physician’s specialty;
• Depth of experience within the specialty;
• Educational background and specialized medical training;
• Hospital staff appointments;
• Administrative posts held;
• Academic and professional achievements;
• Disciplinary/malpractice history;
• Interpersonal skills, such as listening, communication, empathy, and patient confidence;
• If available, other metrics, like outcomes history and procedure volume, are reviewed

Top Doctors selected by Castle Connolly represent 7% of all practicing physicians in the nation.
