Flu Shots and Routine Vaccinations

At Hackensack Meridian Health, you can get a flu shot at several locations. It's one of the easiest ways to help prevent seasonal flu or reduce the risk of getting very sick from the flu. The CDC recommends that everyone six months or older get a flu shot each year.

Walk-ins for flu shots are welcome at the following locations:

Urgent Care Centers

Pharmacies

Or make an appointment with your primary care physician, pediatrician or OBGYN to get your flu shot or other routine vaccination. Hackensack Meridian Health hospital locations will also provide the flu shot if you are admitted.

Ask your care team if you or a loved one is currently at one of our hospitals.

How Much Does the Flu Shot Cost

For people with Medicare and Medicaid, there is no out-of-pocket charge for the flu shot. For all others, please check with your insurance provider for details on out-of-pocket costs.

Where To Get Routine Vaccinations

In addition to your annual flu shot, the following routine vaccinations are also available for age-appropriate administration at many HMH locations:

• Chickenpox
• DTaP/Tdap
• Polio
• Hepatitis B
• Meningitis Vaccinations
• MMR
• Shingles
• RSV
