Our ACGME-accredited four-year categorical program offers residents a comprehensive clinical experience along with structured didactics, simulation training, research opportunities and boardMichael Block, M.D. preparation. Graduates from the Anesthesiology Residency Program at Hackensack University Medical Center will be highly prepared for their future roles as consultants in Anesthesiology. Individualized mentorship from our diverse and engaging faculty will provide guidance for residents to meet their career goals. All training takes place at Hackensack University Medical Center, the largest healthcare provider in New Jersey. Hackensack University Medical Center is also the primary clinical site for Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine at Seton Hall University. Our all-physician department and tertiary care medical center share a long tradition of participation in graduate and postgraduate medical education.Hackensack University Medical Center is conveniently located in Bergen County in northern New Jersey with easy access to all that New York City has to offer.
