Meet Our Residents

Current PGY1 Residents

Rabya Mirza 
Rabya Mirza, PharmD
Pharmacy School: Rutgers University, Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy
Bio: Rabya is originally from Bergenfield, NJ. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Rutgers University in New Jersey. Her clinical interests include internal medicine and critical care. Upon completion of her PGY1 pharmacy residency, she plans to pursue specialty training in an area of her interest. Her long term goals are to pursue a career as a specialized clinical pharmacist. Outside of pharmacy, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and playing board games.
Skyler Radziszewski  
Skyler Radziszewski, PharmD
Pharmacy School: Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers University 
Bio: Skyler is originally from Wayne, New Jersey. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers University in 2022. Her clinical practice interests include infectious diseases and ambulatory care. Upon completion of her PGY1 residency, she plans to pursue a PGY2 residency in infectious diseases. Long term, she hopes to practice as a clinical specialist. Outside of pharmacy, she enjoys reading, playing piano, and spending time down the shore. 
Rahman Syeda  
Syeda Rahman, PharmD
Pharmacy School: University of Illinois at Chicago College of Pharmacy
Bio: Syeda is originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota and completed her Bachelor’s degree at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities in 2018. She then earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Pharmacy in 2022 before moving to the east coast for residency. Her clinical interests include critical care and solid organ transplant. Upon completion of her PGY1 residency, she plans to pursue a PGY2 in solid organ transplant and work as a clinical specialist at an academic medical center with the opportunity to precept students and residents. Outside of residency, Syeda enjoys the outdoors, traveling, cooking with friends, and having cozy nights in with her friends and family.
Joanna Ruggiero

 

Joanne Ruggiero, PharmD
Pharmacy School: Arnold and Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy and Health Science Long Island University-Brooklyn
Bio: Joanne is originally from Staten Island, New York. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Arnold and Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy and Health Science Long Island University in Brooklyn. Her clinical practice interests include pediatrics and infectious disease. Upon completion of her PGY1 residency, she plans to pursue a PGY2 residency and specialize in pediatrics. Long term, she hopes to practice as a clinical pharmacist and have the opportunity to become a mentor and preceptor to pharmacy students. Outside of pharmacy, she enjoys working out, going to concerts, and spending time with friends and family.
