Resident Life of Dentistry Residency Program
Resident Schedule
Clinic Schedules- Clinic Hours: Doors open at 7:30 a.m., Monday through Friday.
- Patients are seen between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
- One hour is allotted for lunch.
- Assistant Hours: The hours for the dental assistant are from 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Resident Assignments
- Clinic: Monday through Friday 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. except as indicated below. One hour is allotted for lunch.
Case Presentations
- Two per year at department meetings
Research Paper
- One research paper/Case Presentation
Emergency Department Rotation
- See on-call schedule
Rotations
- Medical Rotation - 16 hours didactic/120 hours clinical arranged by the Department of Medicine
- Pediatric Rotation - 16 hours arranged by the Department of Pediatrics
- Anesthesia Rotation - 80 hours
Review of the Scientific Literature
- One hour per month.
- July through June – Review of Literature & Department Presentations
Practice Managements/Ethics/Jurisprudence
- One hour per month.
- July through June
