Your pediatrician may recommend a consultation with one of our specialists if your child has symptoms such as:

• Unexplained swelling
• Abnormal urine test results (like blood or protein)
• Recurrent urinary tract infections (UTIs)
• Elevated blood pressure

The initial visit is designed to be a comprehensive and reassuring start to your child's care journey. You can expect the following steps:

• Comprehensive Evaluation: We will carefully review your child’s medical background, current symptoms, and any prior tests.
• Physical Exam: The nephrologist will conduct a gentle physical examination.
• Detailed Discussion: We will engage in an in-depth discussion with you about your concerns and answer your questions.
• Next Steps: Following the assessment, the doctor will clearly explain the recommended next steps, which could involve dietary recommendations, new medications, or additional diagnostic procedures.
