Thoracic surgery is a specialized field of medicine focused on surgical procedures of the chest (thorax). This includes operations on the lungs, esophagus, chest wall, and mediastinum (the area between the lungs). Our surgeons treat both cancerous and non-cancerous conditions within this area.

No. While we are part of a leading cancer center, our surgeons are also experts in treating a wide range of benign (non-cancerous) conditions. This includes severe acid reflux (GERD), large hiatal hernias, and other non-malignant tumors and disorders of the chest and esophagus.

Our office is located at 19 Davis Avenue, 4th Floor, on the campus of Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune. We are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
