About Us
The Stroke Program at Hackensack University Medical Center is a nationally recognized leader in the diagnosis, treatment, and recovery of stroke. As a designated Comprehensive Stroke Center by The Joint Commission, we provide the highest and most advanced level of care for the most complex stroke cases, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Our dedicated, rapid-response team of board-certified neurologists, neurosurgeons, neuroradiologists, emergency physicians, and specialized nurses utilize state-of-the-art imaging and diagnostic tools to ensure fast and accurate assessment. Our approach covers the full continuum of stroke care; from immediate, life-saving intervention in the emergency department to specialized inpatient care and comprehensive rehabilitation.
