Hospital’s planned expansion goes before the Holmdel Planning Board

Holmdel, NJ. Hackensack Meridian Health Bayshore Medical Center is currently before the Holmdel Township Planning Board with plans to build a new emergency care center.

“Bayshore Medical Center is an integral part of the community and Hackensack Meridian Health continually seeks ways to better care for our patients. Our plans to expand the Emergency Care Center address the needs of the people we serve by providing the best, state-of-the-art technology and an exceptional design that would lend itself to world-class care, comfort and privacy,” said Robert C. Garrett, CEO, Hackensack Meridian Health.

The proposed, 32,000-square-foot expansion will provide space necessary for the medical staff to address the needs of the community in a comfortable and private environment. Located on the Garden State Parkway side of the campus, this improvement will be a significant addition to the thriving medical center.

“We are very excited to see this project advancing,” said Frank Citara, Bayshore Medical Center’s chief hospital executive. “Our hospital keeps growing and its reputation within our community is better than ever. Our Bayshore Medical Center team is committed to providing the best health care possible to our community.”

The project has received approval from the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs and is in the final stages of approval with the Holmdel Township Committee, Planning Board and the New Jersey Department of Health.
