Hackensack Meridian Health Nursing and Rehabilitation Facilities Featured on Newsweek’s Inaugural “Best Nursing Homes 2020” List

Four Hackensack Meridian Health facilities among 406 nursing facilities nationwide recognized by Newsweek for excellence
Hackensack Meridian Health is proud to announce that four of the network’s nursing and rehabilitation facilities – West Caldwell Care Center, Prospect Heights Care Center, Hackensack Meridian Health Nursing & Rehab in North Bergen, and Hackensack Meridian Health Nursing & Rehab in Holmdel – were recognized among the best nursing homes in the United States by Newsweek. Newsweek announced its inaugural ranking of Best Nursing Homes, recognizing award-winners in 20 states.

Newsweek, working with well-respected global data research firm Statista, Inc., analyzed over 15,000 nursing homes in the United States. Only 406 nursing homes across the country and 38 in New Jersey have been named to Newsweek’s Best Nursing Homes list.

In addition to this recognition, two of the four facilities, the Care Center in West Caldwell and Prospect Heights Care Center, have recently been named to the U.S. News & World Report’s list of Best Nursing Homes. That list also surveyed 15,000 nursing and rehabilitation facilities from across the country and distinguished only 19 percent of nursing homes with a “High Performing” rating.
