Fourth Annual Orthopedic Symposium Announced at Jersey Shore University Medical Center 4.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s) available

Hackensack Meridian Jersey Shore University Medical Center has announced its fourth annual Orthopedic Symposium. The virtual continuing medical education event (CME) event will take place on Thursday, October 28, 2021 from 4:20 p.m. - 9 p.m.

The orthopedic symposium is designed for health care providers working in the specialties of orthopedics, physical medicine and rehabilitation, internal medicine and family medicine. The program includes four separate presentations intended to broaden the participants’ understanding of treating musculoskeletal injuries and conditions in the adult population.

Ramil Bhatnagar, M.D., chairman of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery and chief of the Division of Spinal Surgery at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, will moderate the event. Topics will include robotics for joint arthroplasty, lumbar spinal stenosis, orthopedic trauma and advanced rehabilitation. A full agenda of topics and presenters is available here.

The event is open to physicians, nurses, rehabilitation therapists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, advanced nurse practitioners, doctors of nursing practice, social workers, physical and occupational therapists, fellows, residents and medical students. The cost of the CME is $20.00. The event is free for physicians, residents, and full-time students.
