Fahad Sheckley, M.D.
Medical School: Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine
Graduation Year: 2024
PGY: "My name is Fahad Sheckley, I was born and raised in Baghdad, Iraq.  I moved to Los Angeles in 2008 and in 2018 graduated from the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine in Michigan.  I love soccer and follow its news closely, Middle Eastern cuisine (of course), and going to NYC on my time off to discover what the city has to offer.  I have very much enjoyed my time so far at Hackensack.  We work hard but we have fun doing it.  The volume of cases is very high here, and I feel I have learned so much already, even in just my first year as an intern.  The educational opportunities here are excellent.  I am interested in robotic surgery and I think Hackensack will train me very well with this career aspiration.  I am looking forward to my next few years here, and to welcoming our newest team members."
