Message from the Hackensack Meridian Central Region Designated Institutional Official

The Hackensack Meridian Health (HMH) Central Region includes JFK University Medical Center, Raritan Bay Medical Center – Perth Amboy, Raritan Bay Medical Center – Old Bridge, Bayshore Medical Center and Riverview Medical Center. Our Graduated Medical Education (GME) takes place at JFK University Medical Center and Raritan Bay Medical Center – Perth Amboy. The HMH Central Region has a proud tradition of training residents and providing specialty and primary care to its communities since 1976. As part of Hackensack Meridian Health, New Jersey’s largest and most comprehensive health network, the HMH Central Region can call upon the extensive clinical and educational resources throughout the HMH Network. One of the most outstanding of these is the new Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine that welcomed its first class in July 2018. Faculty from all of the HMH Central Region’s residencies are involved in teaching students from our School of Medicine. In addition, HMH has a growing number of primary care and specialty employment opportunities with a strong interest in retraining our residency graduates.
