Application Process
Thank you for your interest in pursuing a fellowship in critical care at Hackensack Meridian Jersey Shore University Medical Center. We will provide comprehensive training in this area. We plan to teach the fellow clinical knowledge, judgement, and insights to provide the best care for patients.
Applicants are urged to submit their completed applications early when ERAS opens. This ensures prompt review of their applications and facilitates early correspondence for those candidates selected to interview with our program.

Our fellowship program application requirements are:- Successful completion of USMLE Steps I and II or COMLEX Steps 1 and II
- 3 letters of recommendation (letter from program director strongly recommended)
- Personal statement
- ECFMG status
Competitive applicants are invited for a mandatory interview that also provides an opportunity to meet our faculty. All applicants are considered regardless of age, gender, race, religion, place of origin, marital status, parental status, disability or any other factors.
