Patients should bring the following information when registering for an appointment or hospital stay:

  • Advance Directive
  • Copay or deductible
  • Driver’s license
  • Insurance Card
  • Medicare/Medicaid card
  • Name and Social Security Number of the insured
  • Referral forms from your physician (if required by your insurance carrier)
  • Referral/Order Guidelines
  • Worker’s compensation information (if applicable)

You can sign into MyChart, our online patient portal. You can use the portal to view your records, request medication refills, access test results, manage your appointments and more.

Ample parking is available in the lots surrounding Hackensack University Medical Center Palisades.

If you are visiting one of the outpatient departments, you may be eligible for to park for free. Please follow these steps:

  • Bring your Parking Voucher to a representative from that department to be approved.
  • Before you leave, bring the approved Voucher to the Cashier’s Window for complimentary validation.
  • Insert the validated Voucher into the ticket machine at the parking lot’s exit gate.

We update our hospital visitation every Wednesday, based upon the risk of COVID-19 spread, the number of COVID-19 patients, hospital staffing and equipment levels.

Breast Health Services

Breast Cancer Screening and Diagnostic Services and Breast Surgery are available in one convenient location.

The Comprehensive Breast Center offers:

  • 3D digital mammography, screening, and diagnostic
  • Breast ultrasound, screening, and diagnostic
  • Second opinion program to review outside films

Breast cancer surgery is also performed at Palisades Medical Center including oncoplastic “hidden scar” surgery, which achieves the best cosmetic result possible, and breast reconstruction, including approaches that rebuild a breast from a patient’s own natural tissue.

Maternity Services

Palisades Medical Center’s recently renovated maternity center combines high-quality care with state-of-the-art technology and calming, comforting amenities nestled on the Hudson River Waterfront. New parent educational resources – like new mother parenting, proper breastfeeding techniques and tummy time – prepare new parents to welcome their newborns into the world safely and comfortably.

In addition to routine maternity care, the center specializes in the care of women with complex pregnancies that are considered “high risk” due to their own health concerns or those of the developing baby.
