The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities | Hackensack Meridian Health

What is CARF Accreditation?

The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) accreditation is the highest level of accreditation that can be awarded to a rehabilitation program and is your assurance that we are committed to providing excellent, evidence-based care to our patients by strictly adhering to nationally- and internationally-recognized standards of quality and patient care. To achieve accreditation, we must pass an in-depth review of our services and operations by surveyors from CARF® International, an independent, nonprofit organization that surveys and accredits more than 59,000 programs and services.  CARF has accredited programs at three Johnson Rehabilitation Institute locations.
