Why HUMC: HUMC has a very strong malignant hematology program which intrigued my interest. It is also my home program

Lili Zhang, M.D.
Residency: HCA FL Westside/Northwest Hospital
Hometown: Heilongjiang, China
Why HUMC: HUMC has all the resources that I needed. It is a third tertiary medical center where you can see all kinds of pathologies on a daily basis, it has BMT/Cell therapies and numerous clinical trials where patients get cutting edge cancer treatments. Faculties here are all very nice and really deem to train the next generation of hematologists/oncologists well. The location is great, right next to NYC while much lower cost of living expenses.

Personal Interests: Running, Rock climbing, Photography, Cooking Chinese food, Spending time with my cats and family.

Why HUMC: During my residency at HUMC, I had the chance to learn from world-renowned oncologists who inspired me with both their expertise and compassion. The mentorship, teamwork, and commitment to excellent patient care made me feel at home. I knew right away that HUMC was the perfect place to continue my training and be part of this amazing HemOnc family.
