Jaime Diaz, M.D.

Jaime is the current Family Medicine Wellness Chief Resident. He went to medical school in Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara. He grew up in Puerto Rico watching his father serve the community of San Juan as a primary care physician and was passionate about following in his footsteps. He has a passion for sports medicine and will graduate to use his skills in Family Medicine training to focus on disease prevention, child and adolescent health, and sports medicine. He plans to channel his passion for teaching through academic medicine. 

In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball with co-residents and our PD, doing outdoor activities with his wife and son, planning wonderful activities for co-residents as wellness chief, and spending time with his extended family in Southern New Jersey.

Aqsa Khan, M.D.

Aqsa is the current Family Medicine Academic Chief. She completed her medical education from Khyber Medical University in Pakistan. After graduation, she plans to work as an Outpatient primary care physician with a special interest in preventive medicine and community health. She believes in continuous learning and would like to work in academic medicine teaching Medical students and residents.

She spends her free time traveling and enjoying quality time with her family in Houston, Texas

Diana Palanker, M.D.

Diana Palanker went to medical school at American University of Antigua. She is grateful to have chosen family medicine as a specialty. Family medicine offers great heterogeneity and allows one to take focus on the needs of their community. To Diana, family medicine means providing patient-centered care, quality resources and skills, as well as building a relationship with your patients whether adults or children.

Manuela Noriega, D.O., MPH

Attended medical school in Maine at University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. Prior to starting medical school, she completed her Masters of Public Health at Tufts University School of Medicine. Prior to medical school, Manny was a Middle School Science teacher for a dropout prevention program in Miramar, FL. She has a passion for women’s health and will graduate to use her Family Medicine training to focus on disease prevention, family planning, preconception, prenatal, and perimenopausal care of patients. She plans to channel her passion for teaching through academic medicine.

In her free time, she enjoys working out at the local crossfit gym, cooking, hiking, and seeing her family in Massachusetts.

Life after Residency: Graduated from the Hoboken University Medical Center for Surgical Obstetrics Fellowship program and is now practicing in Northern New Jersey.
