Facilities and accommodations
- 16 birthing rooms and 3 operating rooms
- 40 postpartum rooms and 10 high-risk rooms, which are large, private, single-room, hotel-style spaces with closets, ample counter space, and hair dryers in the bathrooms
Patient experience and support
- A family-centric approach with a 24/7 newborn nursery, while encouraging "couplet care," where your infant stays with you
- Skylife Neonatal phototherapy mattresses (bili-mattresses), so newborns being treated for jaundice can stay in the room with family
- A doula-friendly environment
- A team trained annually in "Spinning Babies" techniques for natural birthing positions
- Robust lactation support from International Board Certified Lactation Consultants® (IBCLC®) and knowledgeable nurses, as needed
- Delayed bathing, so parents can lead their baby's first bath in the room
- 24/7 translation services, including throughout the full delivery process
High-risk and specialized care
- A robust Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) specialty group that makes us a premier center for complex and high-risk births
- Management of complex cases, including fetal and placental anomalies, hypertension, and cardiac disease in pregnancy
- A Prenatal Pediatrics program that supports families throughout pregnancy, preparing them for delivery and postpartum care for themselves and their baby
- A dedicated triage area on the maternity floor, where pregnant patients at 20 weeks or later are brought directly for obstetric emergencies
