Meet Lauren Sacco PT DPT OCS CLT, a board-certified orthopedic clinical specialist and certified lymphedema therapist at JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute. Her focus is on musculoskeletal disorders and oncology, including specialized care for head and neck cancer patient. She emphasizes a holistic approach, examining not just symptoms, but the complete patient experience.
Lauren begins each treatment journey by listening closely to her patients’ stories and concerns, empowering them to actively participate in their own rehabilitation. This approach builds trust and collaboration and also aligns perfectly with Hackensack Meridian Health’s values of compassion and excellence in care.
Her work ranges from treating shoulder pain to helping patients recover after neck dissection surgery. She also supports new therapists by mentoring them and encouraging ongoing learning and quality patient care.
