Colon Cancer Awareness Event Held at Raritan Bay Medical Center-Perth Amboy

Hackensack Meridian Health Senior Outreach Coordinator Leonard Thomas, R.N., provided colon cancer information, free take-home colon cancer screening kits, and discussed the importance of early detection with guests and team members April 18 at Raritan Bay-Perth Amboy. As part of the event, Leonard utilized an inflatable, oversized walk-in colon, an educational tool to help people learn more about the disease.
