Hackensack Meridian Health Named PeopleSoft Innovator by Oracle

Hackensack Meridian Health, New Jersey’s largest most comprehensive and integrated health network, is pleased to announce it received the PeopleSoft Innovator Award from Oracle, a leading global computer technology corporation, for its outstanding work leveraging PeopleSoft Test Framework. The award was presented at the COLLABORATE 18: Technology and Applications Forum in Las Vegas in April.

“I want to congratulate our Hackensack Meridian Health Information Technology team for achieving this distinction,” said Robert C. Garrett, FACHE, co-CEO of Hackensack Meridian Health. “Through the leadership of Dr. David Reis and our entire team, we have successfully leveraged the latest capabilities and technologies to transform our health care network and our information technology practices.”

Hackensack Meridian Health, in conjunction with its partner SpearMC Consulting, implemented an automated testing solution using PeopleSoft Test Framework, while automating standard business processes that supported an aggressive standardization effort implementing PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain Management across three hospitals as well as additional care facilities, while also expanding the PeopleSoft product footprint.

“We are honored to receive this recognition from Oracle for our work in successfully deploying PeopleSoft,” said David Reis, Ph.D., executive vice president, chief information officer of Hackensack Meridian Health. “Hackensack Meridian Health is a dynamic and growing organization and our team has been able to effectively come together to design, test and implement electronic resource planning systems that ensure a seamless transition for all of our users. I am proud of all we were able to accomplish together for the benefit of our patients and team members.”

“At Hackensack Meridian Health, we are committed to providing high-quality care and exceptional patient experiences, ensuring we deliver the right care, to the right people, at the right time,” said John K. Lloyd, FACHE, co-CEO of Hackensack Meridian Health.  “Information technology is critical to our ability to successfully deliver care, and we applaud our team members for their outstanding work putting us on the forefront of technology.”

The PeopleSoft Innovators program was launched in August of 2017. PeopleSoft Innovators showcase what is possible with today’s PeopleSoft – driving measurable results in areas such as reduced operating costs, more rapid response to changing business demands, and providing users with an intuitive and productive user interface.
