One year of knocking out Parkinson’s with Rock Steady Boxing

JFK For Life Health & Fitness Center, part of JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute, celebrated its one year anniversary of Rock Steady Boxing. The non-contact program works to reverse the effects of Parkinson’s and focuses on an individual’s agility, balance and coordination. The original group started with four people and has grown to 25. Participants at JFK are evaluated every six months and have seen a marked improvement in their motor skills and overall quality of life.
