Laura Kelly, coordinator for perinatal education at JFK Medical Center, was recently honored as a recipient of the 2018 Nurse Recognition Award by the New Jersey League of Nursing, in recognition of her commitment and contributions to the profession of nursing. In addition, Kelly is an internationally board certified lactation consultant (IBCLC) and works as a nurse educator, supporting new mothers in the science and art of breastfeeding, while also providing classes and community education for families.
