Hackensack Meridian Health Honored by the Association for Corporate Growth NJ with The 2019 Lifetime Achievement Award

Hackensack Meridian Health is pleased to announce the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) NJ will recognize the health network with The 2019 Lifetime Achievement Award at the ACG NJ Corporate Growth Conference and Awards this spring.

“I look forward to accepting the award on behalf of our entire team,” said Robert C. Garrett, CEO of Hackensack Meridian Health. “Working together, we are dedicated to a shared purpose to transform health care and serve as a leader of positive change.”

Mr. Garrett will be joined at the podium by representatives from four other NJ-based companies being honored as well as program emcee, Tom Bergeron, editor & chief content officer of ROI-NJ.  Leaders of these organizations will share their insights on how they encourage innovation, sustain excellence, and grow their companies.

According to the ACG NJ, Hackensack Meridian Health was selected for its innovative strategies, nurturing a culture that encourages continuous excellence, and demonstrating sustained growth as a result of these efforts.

Under Mr. Garrett’s visionary leadership, Hackensack Meridian Health opened a medical school last year with its partner Seton Hall University, merged with the Carrier Clinic in January to transform behavioral health care, and has a historic partnership with Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center that will result in the opening of a new joint venture outpatient facility in New Jersey.

All 25 members of the ACG NJ board were involved in determining the honorees who best reflect this criteria and the final decisions were made by a selection committee comprised of board members.

“Hackensack Meridian Health is recognized for its rigorous commitment to innovation, excellence, and corporate growth,” noted Sally Glick, president of ACG NJ and principal at SobelCo.

The event will take place May 2, 2019 from 7:30 a.m. until 12 p.m. at The Palace at Somerset Park, Somerset, NJ.

“We are expecting a record crowd,” observed MJ Jolda, event chair of ACG NJ’s Corporate Growth Conference & Awards and principal of CMO + Co. “Every astute C-Suite executive, business owner, service provider and others focused on corporate growth and the M+A community in New Jersey and beyond are going to want to hear how these leaders achieved such a high level of success in their corporations. Given that we will also be recognizing middle market companies with annual revenues between $5 million and $500 million, there will be something for everyone in the room to immediately adapt to their own situations and company culture.”
