Ocean Medical Center Partners with Brick Police EMS to Keep the Community Safe and Secure

The BIOMED Department at Ocean Medical Center has established a partnership with Brick Police EMS to ensure their lifesaving equipment is safe and effective when responding to medical emergencies. Patient monitors and defibrillators are logged into the medical center’s electronic documentation system and when equipment is due for service, BIOMED notifies Brick Police EMS to bring the equipment in for service.  This is one of the many collaborative projects Ocean Medical Center and Brick Police have worked on over the years. Senior Biomedical Technologist Robert Anderson, Director of Brick Police EMS Robert Contreras and Chief Hospital Executive Jason Kreitner were quoted in the article.
