"National Trails Day" and "Walk with a Doc" Feature Debut of ParkRx America

On June 1 at Trailhead Park on Middlesex Avenue in Metuchen, NJ, The Edison Greenways Group will join the Middlesex County Office of Health Services and Office of Planning, the Metuchen Environmental Commission, JFK/Hackensack Meridian Health, area YMCAs and other volunteer groups to celebrate the outdoors. This event will focus on outdoor activities as part of a healthy lifestyle. The event will feature a “Walk with A Doc” tour of the Middlesex Greenway at 9:30 a.m. Registration will begin at 9 a.m. Walkers will meet for the event at the Metuchen Trailhead on Middlesex Avenue (County Route 501). The walk will be led by Briana DeCarvahlo, research nurse coordinator for Stroke and Neurovascular Center at the JFK Neuroscience Institute.
