Spring Fest Event at Hackensack Meridian Health Palisades Medical Center Enjoyed by All

NORTH BERGEN, NJ — Under sunny skies on Saturday, May 18, Hackensack Meridian Health Palisades Medical Center held its first-ever Spring Fest event outside of the hospital’s waterfront campus. Over 1,500 people of all ages attended the event that day.

“Spring Fest was a wonderful way of bringing our community together to enjoy the beautiful weather and participate in fun activities — all while learning important health and wellness tips from our network’s experts,” said Anthony J. Passannante Jr., M.D., FACC, president and chief hospital executive of Palisades Medical Center. “We pride ourselves on being able to deliver the highest quality care to those in our community, and an event like this allows us to also educate residents on ways of being proactive about their health as well.”

The free event took place from 11:30am until 4pm and featured attractions and activities including bounce rides, food trucks, face painting, health screenings, a caricature artist, games for kids and photo opportunities in the medical helicopter.

Also featured were a wide-range of wellness booths where attendees could speak with health experts.  Attendees were also able to meet and get autographs signed by sports legend Carl Banks, formerly of the New York Giants.
