Hackensack Meridian Health Raritan Bay Medical Center Team Members Promote Prostate Cancer Awareness
August 05, 2019
Raritan Bay Medical Center-Old Bridge and Raritan Bay-Perth Amboy team members wore light blue colored clothes September 8 to help promote awareness of prostate cancer. Prostate cancer is the most common cancer among men (after skin cancer), but it can often be treated successfully. Men who are at average risk should discuss screenings with their primary care provider at age 50. Risk factors include age, African-American ancestry, and family history of prostate cancer, among others. September is National Prostate Cancer Awareness Month.
