Hackensack Meridian JFK University Medical Center Foundation is pleased to announce its 15th Annual Miles for Minds 5K Race to support Hackensack Meridian JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute, located at Hackensack Meridian JFK University Medical Center. The race will take place on Sunday, July 30 at Roosevelt Park in Edison.

Proceeds from the race will support JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute, including its world-renowned Center for Brain Injuries and life-saving programs in stroke and cardiac rehabilitation. Funds will advance patient care across its full spectrum of rehabilitation services through improved access to equipment and technology, research, team member training and facility enhancements.

JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute is nationally-ranked as a Top Rehabilitation Hospital in the country by U.S. News & World Report.

“We are so pleased to host the 15th Annual Miles for Minds 5K for what I know will be another successful year in support of compassionate care at JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute,” said Sheri Marino, executive director, JFK University Medical Center Foundation. “Every year, our closest network of supporters, including patients who have recovered from serious brain injury and stroke, come together to get active and enjoy the day while raising important funds that will allow us to advance care. We look forward to seeing everyone!”

Miles for Minds, a family friendly event suited for all ages, is sanctioned by the USA Track and Field as appropriate for all skill levels. For those interested in a lighter pace, there is also a one mile fun run, walk or roll around Roosevelt Park's lake. Participants are encouraged to post photos on Instagram or Facebook with the hashtag #Miles4Minds and submit their photos on the event website.
