Breast Imaging

Mammography

Mammography typically is the first step for screening. We offer 3D mammography at all locations. 3D mammograms are highly sensitive in accurately detecting different types of breast changes, including breast cancer, especially among dense breast tissue. Utilizing the latest AI technology, we offer a breast cancer risk assessment as part of your visit. This enhanced, personalized service helps identify individuals who are at high risk for breast cancer and those who may benefit from genetic counseling.

Contrast Enhanced Mammography

An advanced imaging technology that combines the benefits of high-resolution 3D mammography with functional imaging performed using a contrast agent. This form of mammography provides information about a tumor’s blood supply, which helps to improve breast cancer detection and imaging accuracy. The technology also offers an advanced imaging alternative for women who cannot have breast MRI.

Breast Ultrasound

If a suspicious area is detected during a mammogram, or the initial results are not certain, we may recommend a high-resolution ultrasound to provide additional information.

Breast MRI

MRI is highly sensitive imaging that may be used to screen women who have an elevated risk of breast cancer. MRI does not use X-rays.

Breast Biopsy

If further testing is required, a breast biopsy might be necessary. This procedure involves removing a small sample of breast tissue for detailed analysis. Our breast care team is skilled in performing various types of biopsies, ensuring precise and accurate diagnosis.
