CARF Accreditation
What is CARF Accreditation?
The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) accreditation is the highest level of accreditation that can be awarded to a rehabilitation program and is your assurance that we are committed to providing excellent, evidence-based care to our patients by strictly adhering to nationally- and internationally-recognized standards of quality and patient care.
To achieve accreditation, we must pass an in-depth review of our services and operations by surveyors from CARF® International, an independent, nonprofit organization that surveys and accredits more than 59,000 programs and services.

Hackensack Meridian JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute
For nearly 50 years, JFK Johnson has developed programs in such specialties as stroke rehabilitation, orthopedic programs, fitness, cardiac rehabilitation, women’s health, pediatrics and brain injury rehabilitation. We treat thousands of children and adults each year on an inpatient and outpatient basis.
Johnson Rehabilitation Institute at Riverview Medical Center
Johnson Rehabilitation Institute at Riverview Medical Center, formerly known as Riverview Rehabilitation Center, is a 30 bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital attached to an acute care hospital.
