Applicant must have received their Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE accredited school or college, be licensed (or eligible for licensure) in New Jersey, and possess good communication and interpersonal skills. PGY1 pharmacy residency from an ASHP accredited program is required. Unfortunately, HUMC is currently unable to sponsor candidates for H-1B status to work as pharmacy residents.
HUMC participates in the ASHP Resident Matching Program. Applicants interested in the program should submit the following materials through PhORCAS:
- Curriculum vitae
- Pharmacy school transcript
- Three recommendation letters – references should complete the reference section in PhORCAS. Traditional letters of reference are not required. The clinical preceptor should be able to comment on your scope of responsibility, total patient load, level of autonomy, clinical abilities, and organizational and time management skills.
