PGY 2 Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Residency

Application Process 

The Hackensack Meridian Health Ambulatory Residency Program accepts applications through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). The only documentation reviewed for consideration is that submitted through ERAS. 

Match and Application Review

The deadline for applications is January 5, 2024. Any application received after that date will not be reviewed. Invitations to interview will be extended after applications are reviewed.

We review applications when they contain the following:

  • Personal statement
  • CV (generated through ERAS)
  • 3 letters of recommendation
  • Applicants should received their Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited Doctor of Pharmacy program (or one in process of pursuing accreditation) or have a Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Committee (FPGEC) certificate from the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP), be licensed (or eligible for licensure) in New Jersey, and have successfully completed an ASHP accredited (or one in the ASHP accreditation process) PGY1 residency prior to the start of the residency program, be licensed (or eligible for licensure) in New Jersey no later than October 1, 2024, and possess good communication and interpersonal skills. Only candidates that are US citizens, green card holders, or on a J1 visa will be considered for review.
