Comprehensive Research Support

  • Dedicated Research Committee: Comprised of driven residents and expert faculty, this committee provides personalized mentorship at every stage of your project, from initial concept to publication. The committee also publishes the quarterly "Night Float" newsletter to highlight recent publications and share reminders for upcoming conference abstract deadlines.
  • Institutional Resources: You will have access to a dedicated Institutional Review Board (IRB) department, a vast database of articles through our affiliated medical school, and complimentary biostatistical support for data analysis.
  • Quality Improvement (QI) Initiatives: Dedicated QI rotations offer hands-on experience in quality assurance. We provide abundant opportunities for you to join existing projects or pioneer your own QI initiatives.

  • Annual HMH Research & QI Day: The Hackensack Meridian Health network hosts a dedicated Annual Research and Quality Improvement Day, providing a platform for residents and fellows to showcase their work, compete for awards, and network with peers.
