    • Frequent urination: going frequently or often during the day
    • Urinary urgency: having to urinate as soon as the child feels the urge to void
    • Bedwetting: loss of urine while asleep
    • Daytime incontinence: loss of urinary control causing damp undergarments or requiring a change of clothes
    • Stress incontinence: loss of urine with straining (coughing, laughing, sneezing, etc.)
    • Post-void leakage: loss of urinary control immediately after voiding or just a few minutes after voiding
  • Uroflow testing
  • Biofeedback training (Kegel exercise training)
  • Bladder scans to measure bladder volume and determine bladder emptying
  • Urodynamic testing

*If you have scheduled an appointment due to your child’s voiding issues, we require your child to arrive to the office with a full bladder. That means trying to have him/her drink at least 16-20 ounces of fluid approximately 1-2 hours prior to their appointment time. We understand that this can vary greatly for each child, and it can be quite difficult, but we do ask that you try your best. A full bladder is extremely helpful in the initial workup and consultation of your child’s problem.
