Our family medicine practice, known to the community we serve as Highlander Health, has been taking care of entire generations of families in the Hewitt area for many years. We see patients as young as newborn infants to adults in their later years of life. We offer continuity of care to patients throughout all the stages of their life. 

We are committed to providing quality care and we take pride in always being available to our patients - 7 days a week - when they need us in sickness and in health.

Walk-ins are welcome, however appointments are appreciated.

Primary Care Services:

• Routine check-ups and preventive care for all age groups
• Immunizations and vaccinations
• Health screenings and assessments
• Annual wellness visits

Chronic Disease Management:

• Monitoring and management of chronic conditions
•  diabetes, hypertension, cholesterol
• Long-term care plans and follow-up appointments

Sick or Immediate Care:

• Treatment for common illnesses including flu, colds, infections
• Minor injury care

Pediatric Care:

• Well-child visits and developmental assessments
• Immunizations and growth monitoring

Geriatric Care:

• Geriatric assessments
• Health management for older adults
• End-of-life care discussions and planning

Mental Health Services:

• Counseling and mental health assessments
• Referrals to specialists or mental health professionals

Health Education:

• Patient education on preventive care and healthy lifestyle choices
• Disease prevention and health promotion

Referrals to Specialists:

• Coordinating care with specialists when needed
