Welcome to the Department of Anesthesiology at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, a proud part of one of the nation’s leading healthcare networks, Hackensack Meridian Health. Thank you for your interest in our Anesthesiology Residency Program at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, where we perform over 37,000 anesthetics each year, including over 4,500 obstetric deliveries. All anesthetics are either personally administered or medically directed by our 40 board-certified or board-eligible staff anesthesiologists, many of whom have completed subspecialty fellowship training across all areas of our specialty. Our Department and Program are deeply committed to your comprehensive education as a physician, with a strong emphasis on patient care and safety. We will prepare you to exceed the expectations as set forth by the American Board of Anesthesiology and establish you as a leader in Anesthesiology and healthcare.
