Urgent Care Plus
Our new Hackensack Meridian Urgent Care Plus locations offer the same range of services you would expect from traditional Urgent Care sites, as well as the ability to care for higher acuity patients normally found in an emergency department. These sites are staffed by emergency medicine licensed physicians and have full imaging (CT, Xray, Ultrasound) and comprehensive labs on site providing comprehensive care in a "One Stop" model. Rapid antigen tests are most effective in people being tested at height of illness when the virus’ presence in the body is highest.
People with and without symptoms can get a PCR test to confirm their COVID-19 status. PCR tests are more accurate in detecting the virus in those without symptoms or those with symptoms who may not be at the peak of their illness.

Rapid antigen test results are available within 15 minutes. However, it is important to note rapid antigen tests are not for everyone.
PCR test results are usually available within 24 – 48 hours but can take longer depending upon volume and test availability. Due to high call volume, we ask that you log onto the portal with the information you were given during your visit to check results. You may have been given information for the following portals:
If it has not been 3 days since your test was performed, please wait before calling the site and continue to check the online portals for results.
At this time, you do not need an appointment for a COVID-19 test at a Hackensack Meridian Urgent Care. However, for your convenience, we do offer pre-registration for COVID-19 testing.
To pre-register for the COVID-19 test, please call the urgent care location of your choice to register over the phone. Our team members will assign you a COVID-19 testing timeslot. Please have insurance information readily available before calling.
For added convenience, our Neptune, Freehold, Monroe and Piscataway locations offer online COVID-19 testing timeslot registration as well.
